Rick Fernandez is President of 20-20 Innovation, Inc and has over 30 years experience in the areas of Innovation Management and Operations. He is a Co-Founder of the Innovation Management Systems Professionals (IMSPROFESSIONALS.COM) organization that develops and certifies professionals in Innovation Management System proficiency levels.

Rick is currently serving as the Chairman for the US TAG (ANSI Mirror Committee) for ISO/TC-279 Innovation Management System that is developing the new Innovation Management System Standard Series ISO 56001 and the rest of the 56000 family of standards.

Rick was a contributing author in the book, “Total Innovative Management Excellence (TIME): The Future of Innovation” and co-authored a book on “The Framework for Innovation” which was published in September 2018. His first book was “Total Quality in Purchasing and Supplier Management published in 1995..

During that time, he also served as an Examiner for the Malcolm Baldrige National Performance Excellence Award as well as a Senior Examiner for Florida’s Sterling Award for Performance. He is listed in the 2024 International Who’s Who.

Rick has a BS in Industrial Engineering and an MS in Quantitative Business from the University of Miami and is a Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt.
